SUMMER STAFF

Thank you for your interest in working at Riverbend! God is blessing this camp in an incredible way and the summer staff is such an integral part of this ministry.

There are a few things that we want you to be aware of as you seek God’s will:

• You must be 18 years or older or graduated from high school to live on site and work the full summer.
• As a staffer you have the opportunity to work in one of the following focus areas:
  • Food Service
  • Paintball
  • Grounds/Maintenance
  • Lifeguarding
  • Challenge Course/Zip Line
  • Canteen (Snack/Ice Cream Shops)
  • Gift Shop
  • Archery
  • Office
• Everyone gets to be a part of serving guests at meal times and also in cleaning the camp between groups. 
• Salary for first-year staff is $700 per month plus room and board.  As a returning staff you receive $50 per month increase each year.  Leadership positions are available and include additional responsibility and receive an additional $100 per month.

Being on staff at Riverbend is a lot of fun and you will make friends that will last a lifetime, but it is also very demanding.  The work is hard and the days long, but knowing many will come to know the Lord makes it all worth while.

SUMMER INTERNS

Thank you for your interest in working at Riverbend! God is blessing this camp in an incredible way and the summer staff is such an integral part of this ministry.

There are a few things that we want you to be aware of as you seek God’s will:

• You must be 16-18 yrs old and commit to 1 full month of service:

  Session 1    June 1-June 27, 2008 or

  Session 2    June 28-July 26, 2008 or

  Session 3    July 27-August 16, 2008

• As an intern you will work in different areas of camp life which may include:
  • Food Service
  • Waterfront Assistant
  • Lifeguard (must be certified)
  • Canteen (Snack / Ice Cream Shop
  • Maintenance / Grounds
• Everyone gets to be a part of serving guests at meal times and also in cleaning the camp between groups. 
• Salary for first year interns is $100 per week plus room and board.  As a returning intern you receive an additional $25 per month each year.

Being on staff at Riverbend is a lot of fun and you will make friends that will last a lifetime, but it is also very demanding.  The work is hard and the days long, but knowing many will come to know the Lord makes it all worth while.
